About Us

New Animal Care Centre

While the current site has served Peterborough and Peterborough County well for the last 60+ years, we have outgrown the space as we are caring for more animals than ever before. In the new, purpose-built facility animals will have more room and will experience less noise and stress, thereby reducing anxiety and setting them up for a greater opportunity to meet and match with their perfect family.

Our New Care Centre will help more pets get & stay healthy; find their perfect people and continue the cycle of health and happiness together. This will help make the community happier and healthier by bringing new jobs, national attention and new resources to the City of Peterborough, Peterborough County, the surrounding region and beyond for generations to come.
